樂善堂在配合香港特別行政區政府施政下，於2017年年底開始推動過渡性社會房屋「樂屋」，為輪候公屋之基層人士帶來安樂窩，解決他們短期住屋需要。

去年年底正是樂善堂推動「樂屋」的5周年，故特意出版《樂善堂過渡性房屋「樂屋」5周年》書刊總結樂善堂在這五年間推動「樂屋」之經驗，除專訪一班幕後功臣講述過渡性社會房屋之發展及如何為基層市民付出之努力外，亦藉着多個「樂屋」故事，從受惠住戶言談中了解「樂屋」如何改善他們的生活質素，帶來美好的「家」，同時由本地大學進行回顧式研究調查，評估項目成效，樂見「樂屋」為近98%住戶帶來正向轉變。

To raise funds for supporting our medical, educational, elderly care and social welfare services, Lok Sin Tong is joining hands with Fuk Sing Cantonese Opera Troupe this year in presenting the Lok Sin Tong Charity Cantonese Opera Night.

Lok Sin Tong is pleased to be the Appointed Beneficiary Charity Organization of “McDonald’s presents Music is Live DJ / MC”, organized by Commercial Radio 2, which will be held on Saturday, 19 August 2023. For every donation of $2,280, $880 or $680, donors will receive a complimentary ticket to MIL 2023. The funds raised will be used to support our medical, educational, elderly care and social welfare services.

Although the epidemic trend continued to be reduced and economic activities resume normal, unemployment and inflation rates is still high. The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate is 3.4% for the period between November 2022 and January 2023, which means that there more than 10,000 people unemployed. And, “Composite Consumer Price Index” rose 2.4% in December year-on-year, which heavily affect the livelihood of the grassroots.
