Introduction

Kowloon City is less of service point for the food bank service to deprived families and elderly. In view of this, The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon have cooperated with ST. Jame’s Settlement to set up the service point in Kowloon City. People’s Food Bank has launched food and coupon for the deprived families and elderly in Kowloon City. This service promote in community successfully.

Food bank is now open for application. Details are as follow:

Aim

• To assist people who cannot bear daily food expenses by providing short-term food aid.

Target Group

• Unemployed
• Families with incidents
• Low-income group (Families with monthly income at or below 55% of the Census and Statistics Department (C&SD))

Service Period

Maximum 6 weeks
