Lok Sin Tong is going to organize a Mid-autumn Festival Community Visit Activity on Saturday, 24th August 2019. We are recruiting 400 volunteers to spend a memorable weekend celebrating the Mid-autumn Festival with the elderly in need.
We are pleased to invite you to join us as LST Buddy, in order to truly live up to the motto “With Love, With Care, Grow With You, Grow With Hong Kong”. The details of LST Volunteer Opportunity for Mid-autumn Festival Community Visit are as follow:
Location 1
Time: 10:00 am to 10:30 am (kick-off ceremony); 10:45 am to 12:00 pm (visits)
Content: 1. Kick-off ceremony and briefing session will be held at the Centre
2. Group of 3-4 volunteers visiting elderly people
Venue: Princess Alexandra Community Centre (60 Tai Ho Road, Tsuen Wan, N.T.)
Visit location: Residential near Sha Tsui Road Playground
Volunteer Recruitment: 300 volunteers (Maximum 30 volunteers or 10 groups for each company/organization)
Location 2
Time: 09:30 am to 11:45 am (The activity divided into 4 sessions, around 1.5 hours per session)
Content: 1. Briefing session will be held at the Centre
2. Visiting elderly together with elderly volunteer from the Centre
Venue: Lok Sin Tong Wan Lap Keung Neighbourhood Elderly Centre Activity Room (G/F. Block 10, Tsuen King Garden, 76-84, Tsuen King Circuit, Tsuen Wan)
Visit location: Lai King Garden, Discovery Park and Converse Garden
Volunteer Recruitment: 100 volunteers (Maximum 30 volunteers or 10 groups for each company/organization)
